what is everyone paying/gallon? I`m working on a volume buy and curious if I`m getting it cheap enough to be worth re-selling it or passing it on to dealers at a small mark up.

Bob, I buy quarts for, I think, about $7. What I have trouble with is finding something to carry it in while out trapping the dang stuff will eat the seals in containers then tip over and leak out.

I buy a few quarts at a time from Wally, Lowes, HD......comes in metal containers......I transfer to smaller WIDE mouth containers for easier access to syringe.
Cost ? Bout like 17, $6-7 each.

The original containers have a goofy lid, a real pain to open.
I transfer it into a wide mouth glass canning jar.......then put that glass jar into a spare pair of boots behind the drivers seat....keeps it safe, yet easy to access..........works for me.......glass wouldn't survive long in the back of my truck.......LOL
The WIDE mouth container sure makes for easy access with the syringe.
Finally bought an internal dispense syringe pole, Coyote Whisper had recommended........anxious to try it this year.

"how are you guys getting a 12 cc syringe threu 1 by 1 box trap wire? I use the 3 cc and they barely fit."
I file or gring the finger thingys off of the barrel of the syringe and also cut the thumb rest off of the plunger. This allows it to pass through the 1X1 wire on my cages.
For a stick I use a chimney brush rod that I split each way ( in an X) with the band saw and ram the plunger into the X.

You can buy it in any paint store for 12- 14 dollars per gallon.
MEK will kill them even faster than the Acetone. I believe it is about the same price too.

I go through the bars of the doors also with the syringe pole.
On my really big dog size havaharts i have a 2x2 hole cut out at the top on the side and go through that.

Might have to try MEK..especially if it speeds things up a bit......had a few skunks need a second dose of acetone.......not sure if marginal hits or not..........? Seems like 1-2 a year need more accetone.
I know a skunk sure seems to slow the line down.....

I pay around $15/gal or less. Ace Hardware or even Wally World will have it in gallons at a good price. I use a jelly jar to carry it in the pick up and use the same pole as CW. I also have 1/4" bars spaced at one inch, for the doors in all of the life traps that I am using. I also agree that skunks slow the line down, but they also help me get my heart jump started. lol
