I got out 73 buckets and got 27 coon and some grinners.The coon are crap they are all getting the hard neck.

little too much PM stuff here boys...
for some reason, never did much good with boxes and buckets. I caught coon, but never to te point where the effort matched the reward. Course, I'm always trying it with snow the ground- finally gave up on them.
Read somewhere, in fact 2x recently, that coon don't go into water much when its cold- and here, at least that is false, false false.
Coon show no adversion to going into water in winter- if they are out, they will go into water.

They dont like going into water here when its cold. Of course maybe all the water being froze has something to do with it .

LOL- I often, as I did yesterday- just chop a 4-5 foot circle out of the ice around the set- looks funny- a cut out circle of water arond a set- but it produces...
still above freezing here at 10 oclock- if coon are going to run- its going ot be now-
sure would be nice- been getting coon 1 here, 2 there, 3 there- but no thaws since thanksgiving to speak of, so no big pushes yet.
