I wrote an article on urine then. I wrote it anonymously, and they printed it as such even tho they knew it was from me, at my request. figured if I had my name on it folks would take it just another sales pitch. guess I can fess up now that ~30 years have passed. apparently everything else I say I should say anonimously beings I see on another board someone is jealous as heck of what I say, or at least thinkas somehow it will make him higher if he can make me appear to be lower. maybe gary wrote a pee article too, don`t know. but mine was signed "writer anonymous". not a letter to the editor but a lengthy article. it mirrored similar to our discussions here and carmons urine pamphlet that bill kasten hands out.

Gary Glass
Yep that is the writer. Thanks I would have had to go through a moutain of those mags. Some were close to 200 pages today that mag is like 50 pages.
Not all trappers shoot duct taped guns either. It took all I had to pass on that Parker, it was a wonderful side by side. But why in the world did people cut those stocks down is beyond me. Little tip if you cut a stock keep the wood.

Bob, What about adding glycerine? I think I have heard you say add a pint to the gal.

I do that to keep it there better in driving rains in the east, and desicating winds in the west. plus it is an antifreeze to some extent. but not as a preservative. good pee needs no preservative.

Here's the new one, the only thing it is missing is the duct tape.

Just picked up cat yote and fox urine from Scott Phillips at the Utah convention. Seems like good stuff. Lures and service are top notch also.

Hey what happened to that Shrimp comment I made. LOL
So for the record that Urine I got from BOB I bottled in gal glass jugs and now resides in my root cellar. Come to think of it I don't think I ever stored roots in my root cellar.
Oh and that little trade Zagger you wanted to do is passed.

I actually did use a duct taped .22 l.r. for about 20 years. finally the pin wore out and it was getting dangerous, it would fire if it was set and you looked at it. I clubbed a coyote or something with it and broke the stock, no worries, if you can`t duct it ,...... anyway the boss bought me a nice .22 magnum that I have now ruined also. just broke in that`s all. that parker, how you going to get it out of the case fast enough to club a coyote with it, and wouldn`t it bust the case if you drove off with it on the truck roof , or rear bumber?

bob, bought a .22 bolt action a few years ago, left it laying in the bottom of the canoe too much, lol. barrel looks ok but re-working the stock. sanded most of it down and looks brand new, just need to re-treat the wood. have not clubbed anything with it, i tote an axe handle for that.

mine the barrels are rusted and the wood looks, well used . my wife cleans it about once a year when she gets to where she can`t stand hearing the grit cracking when I set the trigger. I can`t say klock or the dang computer changes it to not nice or some such poppyclock.

I think Z has 2 of them. LOL

Marky- I have a friend, who shoots in your class. Hes a pleasure to watch. I think it would be the same watching you. If you ever get out here, there is good grouse, pheasant and plenty of farms with pigeons. Plus decent ducks, but not like you are used too. Plus 50-75,000 giant canadians in the nearby areas. You would be more than welcome.

I had me one of those .22's when I was younger. Marlin single shot. Leaned it against the bumper on day, drove off and never saw it again. Firing pin was about wore out anyway, it did go off about half the time. I got a Savage Single now, nice, cheap, short gun, excellent for popping in a shell and popping a coon back in a culvert-I think they designed that gun for trappers, as there just isn't much to break on it. But, usually I use my off brand (FIE-no longer made) revolver. I thought it was wore out once, but come to find it does need oiled once a season or it gets fussy about not going off.

Steve I am headed to SD for the opener on the 27th. Those Roosters are at an all time high. I have decoyed many barn yard pigeons over the years, but I like to shoot volume. That is what the allure is to South America is.
Bob the average purse on a live pigeon shoot is about 10 grand, then your bigger three day shoots move into the 50g area. Down in Texas at the Dallas gun club, Brady's in Fla, Vegas and Mexico city your looking at 100 grand.
There are many pigeon trappers in the tri sate area that get about 3-4 bucks a trapped bird. That might be your next venture.
Shaggy you comming into the City??
