If you figure in that he did not pay royalty and any commission I think your buddy did good. Musher I am hearing that some of the furriers in Montreal are having a good season. They are selling product across North America this year. Maybe there is more then one plus to all this snow this early this year. Cheers Jim

Gibb: I don't know if fur garments are selling well or not. I did see many ads for fur clothing in the newspapers.
The Canadian Fur Council ads were more than excellent! Lots of publicity generated there. The animal rights wackos were some peeved off and their "outrage" only helped us. The ordinary consumer sees the logic behind the ads.
We certainly have lots of snow and it IS cold. Minus 30 again this a.m.. It only seems to warm up when we get another huge shovelful
I thought that the beaver and fox prices were pretty good. Considering that there was lots of "brown" in the weasels (according to the seller) that was a good price, too. Marten was a little low.
Cash in your pocket just before Xmas is always a good thing.
