Steve, Just wanted to congratulate you on a great site and let you know that I was able to log in successfully and change my password! For those of you from Huntingpa, I managed to get my usual nickname of "Freedom" back here on Steve's site (and is on Trapperman as well) instead of having to use my name (Adam) like I do over at Huntingpa. Here's a quick pic test showing our 2003-2004 season catch. My brother Brett, me, Sampson, and my dad Dave are shown with 1 red fox, 2 skunks, 3 mink, 15 beavers, 25 coons, and 40 muskrats.

Nice catch, and nice roofline....those breaks wouldn't happen to be in 4' increments would they?

Hi Adam- nice to see you made it. Nice catch and good pic. So who does the best job on the fur...you, your brother or old dad?

Mike, Thanks!
Edge, Thanks and I believe they are 4' breaks. The barn is too dang small though and the ceiling is too low! We're all 6'+ and have to duck unless standing between the rafters!
Steve, Thanks, believe it or not, I'm the king coon skinner / flesher, Brett is a mother of a fur tacker (boards for coon) and beaver flesher (THANK GOD!) and the old man is our skinning expert. He's the got steady hand and makes short work of about anything we give him. We're ALL new to trapping so none of us have any more experience then the other but between the 3 of us, we do a good job. Our fur buyer was really impressed. He said we had some of the nicest fur he got this year, all clean, well scraped and brushed out. Next year we're hoping to have the facilities as well as the room to wash all our fur.
Good to be here!
