Great Pics.
What lines are the Lacy and the Cur out of? I like the brindle w/ the white head. Striking looking dog.

thanks timber. The lacy is out of a local line of dogs that a gov. trapper here use to raise he got out of them several years ago though. Not sure where he got his start but he had them for a long time. The cur is streak bred and came from danny wilkinson in denham springs louisiana, she is squirrel dog stock but has never been used for such. They make a pretty good team the lacy has a little colder nose but the cur can wind like nobodys business. she winds stuff out of the box fairly regular. both of em are with me nearly every day of the week and are lots of fun.

What does a dog do that makes it handy with m44's?

Stef is right I use them for finding the dead coyotes. If i have one fired and dont see him dead right close i will cut them loose and let em make a circle. Most times they find him right quick the little cur has learned to use her eyes and will take a quick look around from atop the box before i let her out. others they find by nose. Not much help on those you can spot from the pickup but in taller grass or dense brush saves alot of time. got em in the truck anyway might as well let em work.
