I would hope so- we all need to understand that we need to work together for the common good. growing up, every trapper had a hound or two- you trapped water, you hunted coon.

I had a redbone, a walker hound and a pit bull back in high school.
Lately I have been doing some hog hunting with a friend who uses catahoulas, black mouthed curs and pit bulls. Lots of fun and good eats....

I dabbled in coon hunting, but those years I was into the beagles pretty good, and something had to go. I always liked the looks of redbones, had one that later became Nt Ch Misty Hills Ellie Mae. Only trouble she had, was a real soft mouth, she'd get a hill away and you couldn't hera her until the tree. Had a couple old time B & Ts- pretty hounds, a few Walkers... guess if I'd have to pick a coon hound today, would go with an English or a walker.

I love to run hounds and I love to trap and I feel that we should all be able to get along or someday we won't be able to do either one. Got to stand togather and be good sportsmen.

My biggest knock is most hound hunters in this area have no respect for land owners. I love hunting with hounds and trapping. So there are times when im torn.
