My son has a new england arms single shot rifle in 223 cal. I loaded some ammo for him with some 40gr. Hornady v-max bullets , today I went with him to sight it in. We pull into a small pasture set a target up about 100yds away, he loaded up got some clothes up on the hood for a rest and we were waiting for a fertilizer truck about 3/4 of a mile away to clear as it did my son eased the gun up on the hood. Out of the corner of my eye I caught movement RED FOX , I alerted the boy , it walked right inbetween us and the target. Brandon leveled off on it and rolled him at a whooping 45 yds. That was his 1st fox and like nothing I'd ever seen before, everybody deserves a gimme once in a while.....B.....

Jim we have a very few, I caught 38 Yotes before I ever caught a Fox, but I've been told I don't set Fox locations. DJ I wish all of my sighting in trips were half as exciting as that one.....B.....
