Boys- we got lucky here. The new moderator is one of those rare things- a Wildlife Biologist that is both a woodsmen and a trapper. A good trapper.
allow me to introduce you to Dusty. He is a Wildlife Biologist from Alaska- and has participated in some neat studies- seasl, otters, voles, among a few.
He also is a seasoned northern trapper, as you can see by his posts.
I'll let him post and introduce himself further- and please- feel free to get involved in any and al discussions on his board.
I have been involved in more than a few discussions with Dusty and he is very "WileyEesque" in his style and logic-
Dusty?

Dang, that's quite the introduction!
I guess I'll start this with a short background: I have a BS in Wildlife Biology from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, which I've used to leverage my way aboard a wide range of fieldwork.
I trap near Fairbanks, and usually run something like 80 miles of line from my snogo. I just bought a share of an airplane, and hope to trap from it someday. Until then, I'll just continue to make my partner haul me around!
I know just enough to know I don't know very much about trapping or biology, and I'm looking forward to reinforcing my ignorance on this forum!

Aside from all of his credentials, Dusty caught me a Wolverine, which will allow me to get some different headgear soon. Welcome Dusty, I am sure there is going to be a spirited discussion on that board.
