I got 1. A buddy of mine gave it to me. Its a 110 sized I guess. Tried it out. Too darn hard to stablize. I guess you could fabricate some kind of holder but when I reach for a trap I need a trap that comes up ready to go to work and not one that needs equippage to hold it in place. Too much farting around for a cut to the chase guy like me.
My apologies here to anyone who makes these traps but I think their gimmicks and/or toys. Maybe curios. I can honestly say I would not pay .10 cents for another one.
There's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. Have fun.

there is a place for them, notch out a tile or culvert or hole or hollow log the right size, for the springs and put in the entrance. self stabilizing that way and no squaring up the hole for a square coni. probably a specialty trap, but everyone has places they would be the berries.

I am thinking about 8 and 10 inch irrigation pipe. There are already slots cut for the water to flow through for the springs. My two shepherds chewed the ends off $600 of irrigation pipe trying to get to rabbits, skunks and coons that hid in the pipes. I thought since I paid for the pipe I should use it for something.

I have two, an 8" and a 10". I've used them for two seasons. Next season they will be hanging on the wall in my collection. Every beaver I caught in the 10" showed signs of strugle and was really twisted up in the cable. I only caught one otter (in the 8") and it also showed signs of struggle and actually made off with the trap but fortuately I found it a short distance a way. It was anchored well but apparently not well enough. It was caught right too, not hip caught. Should have been dead a heck of a lot sooner than it was. The spings are very strong so I don't know what the problem is but whatever it is they don't kill near quick enough IMO.

Oldmink, you can send it to me, I love them. I use sullivan stabilizers with them and have no problem. I have also hung then by the spring with a stake and had rats waiting for me. I use them in trail sets for mink with the SS's and have had them waiting for me with the mink laying on the stabilizer. I also like the 5 incher double springs in a pipe for coon. Beaverspanker, I have had the same thing happen with square #330's. if you don't like them you can send them to me also . woody

Where are the RBGs at on BMP evaluations? Have they been tested?

Have any RBGs been tested by the BMP?
If the BMPs only evaluate square body grippers it would be kind of discrimnatory wouldn't it?

I have used th 220 sized RBGs and have had no problems with stablizing them and they kill coon on the spot. I think they offer a more natural looking opening when used In trail sets. swivels are very Important and that means on bodygrips too.
