What size chain do you use on your coyote drags, and where is a good place to buy it?

In the past I have gotten mine from Gerald Schmidt at Schmidt Enterprises.
#2 welded link chain will work only IF IT IS TOP QUALITY STUFF and then would advise the use of a stop shock device to help reduce the abuse on the chain. Chain size should be #3 welded machine chain of good quality.

I use #2 straight link welded. I get mine from JC Conner.
Whatever you do, don't get twin loop.

#2 welded works fine and heavy twin loop will work in a pinch but gets all plugged up with dirt, grass and small sticks. If you're buying get welded link and you'll be happy.

If there is ANY CHANCE you will tangle with mountain lions, black bears or Great Pyrenees guard dogs you will need more than #2 chain.
