got a call from ogorman today and got a apology.....from what i know everything will be taken care of with my order....so hoipefully i will be getting the rest of my speres....

gunny we have found a way to make them work....have to modify them a little but they set quick and hold...

I fooled with these a little more yesterday morning and got them to work. Took the advice of a few guys that used them last year. After driving the stake, you have to sort of "plunge" dirt back into the hole with your driver. Of the half dozen I drove, they all set in an inch or two using this method. Problem solved. Another reason why this is the best trapping message board on the net. Thanks to everyone who gave suggestions.

well our little mod is simply welding a 1/4 nut infront but uptight against the tit for the cable...moving the cable further away from the spere and off centering it more....simple physics....more off center will set much quicker...now we can drive and go instead of tamping the stake and all the horse pucky....

I suspect those are going to have a limited life span on the market unless Craig does some modifications to them. Lots of other GOOD anchors on the market that work THE FIRST TIME EVERY TIME.

i guess i should clear up the problem why i was short....the box got damaged in the postal system and so i sent the box to ogorman and that cleared everything up....
