Who's got the best one out there. I've got slow running creeks about 30 feet across to 2 feet across. Caught qite a few in highschool haven't nabbed one since but was out scouting yesterday and I found plenty of tracks.

If you could spend a couple days with Nittany Lion, you would get as good an education as I think anyone could get. I only spent two days with him, and my mink catch has gone up exponentially, that little sawed off banker knows his stuff with mink. Last year was a personel best...

Maybe Nittany could give me his thoughts on the best mink video out there?

Johnny Thorpes "Mink Trapping Come Hell or High Water" is a decent video. I have yet to see Jim Spencers videos but plan on buying them.

To give a recomendation on a video that would depend on the condtions you trap. The 4 volume set that Jim Spencer has covers all bases. Thorpes if your in rocky ground. Schmidtt if you have easy digging.

A mink video that you don't hear much about is the couple done by Mike Marsyada and Dennis Kirk. I thought they were good videos as well.

I heard Nittany Lion is considering giving lessons this fall, as he is retiring and will be mink trapping 24/7 this year.

I went with Nittany Lion several times. DJ,Free...Dang! I bought Breakfast, I carried traps and equipment, I reset full traps, I carried fur all day, I wrapped fur in newspaper. When we returned to the shed that evening...I unloaded fur, helped with the skun'n, then he ask me to take his truck to refuel while he got cleaned up. When I returned I helped reload equipment and stuff in the truck, for the next morning. It's a wonder Nittany Lion didn't make me tuck him in bed at night!

Yeah, you are right about that Hern, I did buy breakfast, and loaded the truck, and carried traps and bricks. I forgot about that, we also went and got a load of sawdust for the hayburners. On the upside, Ninny did supply peppermint patties all day long.
