Ever use them?, TPC had article about them 10 years or so ago. 12-20" wide with double doors to keep from jamming up, and fold out wings to block a 3-4' wide small creek. I had a few and at a shallow canal feeding a marsh I pulled 13 rats out in one stop. Over 40 in 2 weeks. I havent used them in years, and dont even have the 4 i built, but gonna put that new pheumatic ringer to use real soon! With rat prices up, it will be worth having a quick and easy way to trap rats along the coon line. Just drop them in at narrow spots and block. I think over a period of time youi can about clean all the rats out an 1/8 mile each way from the trap.

You gonna have them for sale? I'd like to buy a few I think they would work real well where my creeks narrow down.

That is the reason that I wrote the DNR and asked them the legal size limit for colony traps. They told me that there was no limit, and I have it in writing.

yep i have some of those big ones catch beaver in them too but the bulk of mine are 6or 8 inches wide if the run is too wide i just drop in a couple side by side but most times if you look close at the bottom you can see where they are swimming in the run and one will do the trick

you are going to think I`m pulling your leg, but I have "colony type" repeating box traps that I trap red fox in, as high as 5 in one night.
