What do you expect! Takes three Canadians to change a light bulb. One to hold the bulb in the socket and two to turn the ladder.--Would you expect anything different from their beaver trapping?---------------------------------------------Guess I'd better send my furs to Naffa this year ha Gibb!

We use a chainsaw with a three foot blade to cut the ice and then set snare poles. Takes three guys just to lift the ice out. We are getting ready for our annual trappers convention so we need about 40 beaver for the competitions. Monday we had about an inch of rain fall so everything is flooded with about a foot of water on top of the ice. Hopefully everything freezes up again. Cheers Jim

Gibb I noticed that if you put spruce boughs down over the hole and pile a bunch of snow on top there is no need for a chainsaw to re-check, sometimes i don't even have to cut.Do you do the same?Nice pics.
