I'd like to hear some opinions on these locks. Are they quick killers?

If by mini locks you are refering to BMI mini locks they are a good lock.
Haven had a chance to use my micro locks. They have potential. They are fast and smooth on a loaded snare.

The BMI mini lock is excellent;used em for beaver, otter, yotes cats and fox.
Havent seen a micro yet,but I got comped a bag of some kind of lock;sorta fish lure shaped;they would prolly make nice earrings. They dont make much of a snare lock. Its a ez lock or something.....dont buy any.

I have yet to see any lock, cinch up like a toothed cam with a kill spring. I also see little refusals with them and you can get multiple catches from these where others get rounded and don't cinch up as well the 2nd or 3 rd time around.
Grawe sent me some of his new locks I have them out but will be looking at wear, at least with a toothed cam I can refile a time or 2 and have the same lock up.
The amberg does the same but, the j hook idea if made smaller I would like better and with the release ferral you stand to loose locks and kill springs after a deer hits one, with a cam and s hook bad all parts remain on the snare. I find keep all the hardware out of the line of sight as best as you can and blend your snares, and refusals to switch to a micro lock isn't as important. I run all kills springs so you still have that to deal with reguardless of lock size, again refusal are slight when you keep the harware out of the line of sight.

Sorry,man....you should quit like I did,day 22 or somehting like that already, finally chitting solid.Either wya, those locks SUCKED.Danged if I can remember the name tho....
TC,on a 3 day check, ten foot snare(1/16,with filed camloc)if you had 5-600 snares made WITHOUT springs, would you cut em and install,or just run the cams.

In areas of good entanglement would use them as is, if you have any open area at all I would be putting on stingers or the grawe look alike on 1/16th cable or 75lb springs. I have noticed better results on 1/16th 1x19 with the stinger type over the coil spring types more so than 5/64ths cable.
