Well Bob I have been using badger glands for about three years now. But I have been using them by there self. If I may ask how much badger gland per gallon of bait? I use very little per set. O'gorman say coyotes will roll on the badger gland if you use to much so I went with that as how much I use. Any thoughts on that issue?
Also how much per 4 oz. of coyote gland lure?

Dave, anything I make is in a 5 gallon bucket so 4 oz., you got me, I guess real tiny amt. I havn`t seen the coyote rolling, but I`m talking 6-8 badger butts/3-4 gallons of lure gross amt including the filler etc. I have never used them straight. My personal idea of lure ingredients is that no one component of a lure should be detectable to the human nose in the finished product, like skunk/castor/badger etc. But rather all blend togather to make a very alluring smell that is changed ever so slightly from the base smell by each additional ingredient added. Each batch I make is like fine wine and not exact as the last batch, due to availability of ingredients, aging/weather changes, age of the batch andf ingredients and my own personal wants and needs. similar, but never the same. I know tonquin, skunk and castor are killer ingredients you have to be realk careful withm the tonquin especially. That stuff I swear grows and multiplys and can over ride and ruin a bunch of good glands real easy. use it a drop at a time , then come back and sniff again, one more drop etc. At the first even hint of smelling it you went too far. caaaaaareful! And that nelson bait I brag on so much. Old bill didn`t have the last word on it. You can improve on it tremendously by dinking with it yourself souping it up with more glands of your liking.

Edge, was not about what you think... was about some testing done.
And from that November thing... I thought I answered it.
