When you are talking about reluring your sets after a catch are you saying that you relure immediately after the remake (same day ) or are you reluring a few days later if no more action?
When I catch a canine I just remake the set into whatever best fits the situation and I do not relure with anything. If a few days pass and there is no more action then I will relure the set. When I catch a gray fox I add another set just outside the catch circle but I do not add bait or lure or urine to the new set. I let the fresh dirt and the smell from the other set be the attractor. 9 times out of 10 I'll catch the next gray in the new set. If I catch a non target such as a coon or possum then I relure the same day.
Clarifications please.

Testing is one thing- but I do that as seldom as possible...LOL
I think the smorgasborg effect only adds to the set.
I relure immediately upon remaking the set-

Sometimes relure after a catch, If the hole is still intact and the bait in it, I see no need. There is plenty of calling power in and around the hole. Might add a turd if the caughtote has left one.
When testing lures I do the same as Zags.
