Z, I prefer to tight pack my trap beds as well And the waxed packs like iron. We know the good doctor says he does not pack his traps tight, but let us remember he is a former Mr. Natural body builder so what one says is tight might not be that to another frank

I love the waxed dirt, but I don't run a longline of traps.
For someone longlining, it may become tough carrying that much dirt around.

Say Z- just wondering how much experience you have using the urea. How many coyotes have you caught in the dead of winter on those wide open flat sets with urea?
And in true non thawing conditions, as I thought you meant as per your original statement- my original stament stand- why would any one use ANTIFREEZE in NON THAWING conditions.

#'s wise low 20's out of say 40 traps set late December, January. I have all the pictures........
If it doesn't work for ya don't use it.
