I agree with trappincoyotes35, no dip for me , been there done that, never again. Dig up traps all over the place, sorry I just ain't got the time for that Chit!! As far as blood, there's very little if any in my set area, but what there is I wipe off with catch circle grass and reset, no problem. I never change trap after a catch and have less digging and sprung traps in remakes than in fresh sets. I consider any catch to make a set better.....B.....

Well,I have read these post and see some good advice,but I really don't have problems with dug up traps.Like I said is the animal smelling detergent off your clothes,cigarette smoke tobacco spitting rust from traps or stakes or blood on the trap improper bedding.I still feel like this if an animal comes into a set close enough to dig he is not trap shy and he can be caughtT.hink about it if he digs the trap what are his chances of hitting pan.I would say pretty good but thats just my opinion.If I start getting alot of dug up traps I will give up on speed dip
