On another note, i have shot 3 coyotes right out of the back yard!
Seems the timing is Early October........
My back yard is loaded with Apple and pear trees, And the timing is right to the fruit ripening......
I have actually been awakened by coyotes "yammering" in the yard. Think about this........If you were a coyote or a fox for that matter would you crave ripe, spongy fruit and their delectable juices at this time??
HMMMMMMMMMM!

I use a sweet lure that I belive was developed based on the Logan research. I use it for both M-44s and traps and have had very good success with it all year long. The problem with this lure and most "sweet" lures is in cold weather is it seems to lose its "punch", but if you are right on location coyotes will still work the set, or pull the getter. I have noticed that when the temp gets below 10 degrees I have had a tougher time getting them to pull getters with this lure, but several times I have seen coyotes dig through 10" of snow to pull a getter with a sweet lure on it.
