Okay in my other life (HVAC Service). I have no problem selling EXTRAS(Beyond the Call).
Well in my ADC business today I did a call for skunk. During my inspection I found that this house has a colony of Bats living in it. So after my inspection was finished I talked with the H.O. about the bats in the house. I personally don't like to use scare tactics when trying to sell bat work. But I just try and inform them of the bats and that I can do the work, just like I do in my other life.
Normally sales came pretty easy for me. Any thoughts???

I always try to give the customer a full report on anything I see. Very often I have been in places they haven't been in in a long time if ever. Leaks in the roof, pipes, chimneys, or bug problems. Bad screens, cracked flues, roof damage, water damage, or anything else I tell them about it. We do exclusions, chimney caps, screens, vents, and other animal damage repairs. And give referals on other problems to those companies that make referals to us. Just makes sense to me.
