Has anyone else received correspondence regarding this product. I received mine a few weeks ago and set it aside until now. The material as I understand it is Donkey poop. Dried and bagged. Can be used in or out doors. Imagine that. Says is safe but if you eat it , it could cause stomach upset. Wonder who tested it to determine that bit of information.. Its advertised as 100% natural burro scent. product information is available at www.kickenass.comKeeps raccoons, skunks, opossums, and coyotes out of your garbage and away from your house without using chemicals. I would think that wet donkey poop would be described as basically sh- t. The lady is out of Union City, Wisconsin the flyer indicates. Has some very bold results that she shares. Says if you put it by a dumpster it will turn raccoons away as far as 100 feet if the scent is blowing down wind towards the approach of the animal. Keeps coyotes from climbing fences to eat coy fish in California. Only $3.00 a bag. If anyone has information regarding this product and its effectiveness if any please advise me. BJ

Bob- way to be fair, but I know as you do, its nonsense.
I trap in fields right next to burros and donkeys at a few places.
And what about Custer in SD? Wild burros and donkeys all over- no shortage of wildlife.
Same scam as fox urine repels rabbits.

I am sure the advertised results are more than likely unreasonable nor even effective. However I have not heard of this type of product application before but once in a while something simple does have some merit in repellency to a degree. Was curious as to anyone having had experience with such a product. If nothing else it would be a good fertilizer.
Its amazing how innovative some individuals can be. Apparently she obviously has observed some behavioral reactions from the donkey poop in the past to cause her to have such motivation to market this product. And to have such a broad label of effectiveness as well.

Perhaps that is the case, but corellation does not equal causality. Often the numerous unknown variables are unaccounted for when a "cause" is attached to an "effect". The foxes, coon, and skunks around here don't seem to mind the odd burro.

I totally agree. It never surprises me any longer to see the wild and far fetched claims that are associated with many such advertised repellent type products. I see many such things in the stores or in catalogs. This is the first such type product that I have received as a direct mailing to our business.
I was curious as to how many others in ADC that got this same information. Must have gotten our business name from a mailing list some how.
