I only trapped for cats once, a good friend let me trap his line in Kansas. First cat pulled out before our eyes..2nd I said take the pic! as I was shooting lol
that second cat is pretty too- what part of the country are you in?

I'm in southern Utah, its funny because I trap cats in a few different areas and all areas have different fur, these two cats are from the same general area

so do you trap canines as well?
I love the area I'm in, but my 2nd choice would be the sage/butte country

I catch Kit fox, and grey fox. I try to catch coyotes as well but I'm no good at it

Here's a rundown of my coyote line: 1st check=one dirt hole dug out, no catch. On trap sprung also 2nd check=snare missing, same hole dug out, no catch 3rd check in snow=4 sets visited, no catch 4th (yesterday)=6 sets visited out of 22. Icey snow on traps so no catch, salted everything and cleared snow. I also set 6 snares in well travelled trails so hopefully I can land them one day...like I said, I suck at coyotes
