I worry that our president is a cheat and liar, I worry that people give hpthem a free pass for committing adultry in the Oval Office and I MOST worry that is where our kids get some of their morals from, that is my worry. Everyone should worry about free passes on corruption, cheating and lies.
The moral fiber of our country degrades each day with those that turn a blind eye for such. My 11 year old has more sense than many adults he is grounded and knows what is what far better than some adults as well. He has the power of common sense.
He has been on student council the past few years and was elected elementary school president for this year in 6th grade. He has a good value system and moral standards.
I am hoping others will teach their kids the same, rule 1 do not believe the main stream media LOL.

if your 11 year old has common sense- I'd thank his mother and his teachers
because quite seriously, I hope his values aren't yours.

He does and he will be better off for it 10-15,20 plus years down the road. he will not blame those with more, for some having less, he knows that hard work pays off and goal setting pays off. He wants to achieve, not be one to settle I have saw it in his studies and awards he has received for that hard work.

The vast majority of us are neither left or right wingers that is the labeling of those of your mental state. It is interesting that millions probably nearly a hundred million voters are no where nearly as liberal as you continue to state that they may be based on your barometer of what constitutes liberal versus conservative and I don't agree that just because a person does not share your exact policies or principles that they are dim witted or not bright as your last post indicated they may be. Democracies require patience, discussion, action and compromise. I see your thoughts on those practices as more fascist then democratic and I for one don't want the typical social culture that many times goes with those types of authoritative and dictatorial governing systems. Leaders with a background in understanding how democratic government works also tend to appoint persons that have diplomatic mindsets and seek to defuse and solve issues be they foreign or domestic in democratic ways. When we look at the nations that enter into the worldwide agreements and talks regarding global growth and expansion and trade the nations most often unwilling to discuss and be part of agreements are non democratic nations where the betterment of their citizens is not always a high priority.
