I've told you before, and I'll repeat it-you have ZERO right to ask me questions, since you refuse to ever answer any of mine
but if you want to start: why are you opposed to universal background checks? Are you a felon?

Your funny LOL? If I where a felon I Would not have passed the background checks I have gone through in my life. I have passed the ATF background check, which anyone who sells firearms must do.
The only background check really that is not universal is private to private sales. Who is liable? Who pays for such? Why should there be a charge for a legal sale ? If your telling me no fees and no liability to seller on private to private great, if your talking liability then NO! As private to private sales have been done for many, many years. Make it free and no liability to the seller then great.
You see YOUR choice for president she wants to hold accountable gun manufactures for legal guns salsa, no way in heck sorry or that would open up all products sold legally to further liable and that is just stupid nas stupid can be. They have ZERO oversight after the sale. She is a fool. On that and even your man Bernie would not take it that far , by holding people. Liable after a legal sale all your trying to do is limit sales due to fear, that is 10000000 percent wrong! On my dying grave would I stand for such,
The rest you criticize but want to give no concrete answers, just as all of those on the left side like to do.

Following the money has always been the trail used by the legal system to obtain what they feel is due course or compensation. There are many examples in the pharmaceutical sector, auto sector, medical, machinery, facilities and yes even fast food industry where the attempt is to go back to the originator of the product so the idea that all industry will suffer is already in place. That precedent has been established and unfortunately it is just a matter of time before it becomes a reality as that will be the way this is done and probably by the private sector as there is too much anti government feeling in this nation to take on the gun lobby on this issues but there can and probably will be real money for the private sector in the future if we keep just saying no. Look how good the Reagan just say no to drugs program is working in the USA with drug overdoses at record highs and many of them with legal prescription drugs that are now more readily available then ever. Many sold by legal licensed persons and many sold illegally by those who are licensed to sell. them.

Tman you make one liners it is hard for me to pinpoint what it is your claiming me to be, please elaborate.
Bryce you making my point for me! So Pfizer makes a drug, that gets sold to a middle man company, then sold to a pharmacy, then dispensed to someone for no good reason by a shady Doctor, and you want the liability to fall back to Pfizer for making that drug? really? Good luck on that lawsuit in a court of law, if that day ever comes this country will be so screwed it will make all of our heads spin.
Open the flood gates as then no product is safe from liable even though it is legal and has been passed through many hands.
I am thinking paint buffers should all find a lawyer and start a class action lawsuit against kraylon for all the pass brain damage caused by their paint?
Then we can all complain when a can of spray paint cost 23.50 and we need to present a photo ID and sign a waiver stating we will only use this paint as the product label describes, otherwise we waive all, rights to a lawsuit. But wait a minute, 8 percent sales tax on 23.50 is far better than 8 percent on 4.95? Hum?
That is the America I want to see ................ When will we drop the motto of America the freeest nation in the world? Betting it would soon follow after such things.

No I am not making the point for you and I am not saying that I approve of this action but in reality especially in the private sector where huge money is involved the trail will go back to the deepest pockets. The main reason that it typically stops before that far is the very strong lobby groups that work with our government to protect the large businesses and keep them at arms length from a multitude of lawsuits. For those that dislike government they need to understand that government has created the path for very large businesses to be the size and power that they have today.

That is where we disagree, private business has what power the consumer gives them. Guns are not a needd item, but a free and legal product and I am against any who try and back door and entire legal industry by adding such as lawsuits and other laws that rise cost to limit sales, and skirt the laws we have . The business needs lobbyist to protect themselves from further legislation that look to do them harm , simply because they are in business and they do not agree with such,
Rising product cost to get the end result of reduced sales is not the part of any government to do. Be it guns or soda pop in NY or other crazy things that have been done.
Our govt is the ones who let lobbyist in the first place,as again in your words follow the money trail.
Common sense has to come into play at some point, I keep, wondering when though?

If the large corporations have all the power they need from us the consumer why do they spend billions on professional lobby staff and firms to create the laws that give them the protection they seek? Consumers don't give companies power, consumers give companies funds and profits which they then can use to protect themselves from consumers. All the thousands of laws created for consumer protection and rights have been passed due to the fact that prior to this the laws protected the firms even more strongly than they do today.

Because our govt allowed them to lobby! It is a catch 22 and the lobby money goes right into the pockets of our law makers. I am all for getting rid of such for good. I am also for 6 year term limits on all congressional people as well, somehow I don't feel most are for such though?

I'm all for term limits but I think it should be 12 yrs for Congress and 16 yrs for the Senate, and the House terms upped to 3 years from 2. I do think there needs to be some sort of seniority system in the House and Senate. And, if they stay out one full term they could run again. It would get rid of some of the old rich farts who keep getting voted in because constituents don't want them to feel bad. lol

sure- you make things up, and then claim them to be fact- even when a simple search disproves what you are saying. and then when caught, you deflect to some point that is far removed from the topic.

I can understand the desire by many to have term limits as there is merit in that discussion. However in almost all other sectors of our economy and business length of service or years of experience are valued very highly and many ads promote their years of experience as a selling point. Yet in politics we seem to want to choose those with no to little experience hoping they will intuitively know how to govern better. Term limits have merits but I don't feel that training new people on a constant basis will help solve long held political views and policies, especially when those long term polices and views are the base for the funds to campaign and run. A good friend (farmer) ran for the 6th US congress seat this summer and was defeated quite handily by another farmer for the Democratic ticket to run for the fall election. He is a successful farmer with 25 years of international banking experience and he was told he needed to raise 750K for this coming election. Wow not going to happen with $2.60 corn and $8.90 beans. The other thing he quickly found out that a moderate to conservative Democrat does not gain support from the far lest Dem's and certainly the right leaning GOP. His policy base made great sense to me but it is a hard sell in a nation where we don't like what others are getting but we don't want to lose what we have and we want someone else to pay for what we get.

Bryce too many career politicians and lobbying money and other back door deals, Pam 12-16 years? The. Why bother with term limits? I mean 16-20 what really is the difference?
Let us do this 3 terms, set pay, no other money made from any govt work period, or 20 years in jail, no lifetime benefits for 6 years of service. You must then take 4 years away and if you want to run again great, if not go to work, retire etc.
Far too many career politicians doing nothing but striking wedges into party lines. All congressional members must be present for 95 percent of votes in either senate or house or a very legit reason to fall below 95 percent, a data base of all votes on all issues . 100 percent easy transparency for the American people. Within 24 hours after the votes.
Bryce class war fair non sense needs to stop. So does the color non sense as well. People with common sense can see through much of this stuff quickly really. Millions and millions of Americans fed up with all this non senses , yet it still keeps popping up. I have a feeling here in Missouri, govenor Nixon lost the state for the democrats. Eric Greitens is running for the republican governor and he is a retired navy seal. A fresh new young guy and ,any people are looking at him for change in the state. Nixon could have played things a lot better and chose to stay with Obama and it will cost the dems here in the state of Missouri.

I find 16 years to be too many. By year 8 most have run their course and accomplish very little, except partisan politics and making all kinds of money aside from the federal paycheck.
We want people there to do for their states and country not sit for over a decade finding inventive ways of making side cash on the tax payers dime.

Tman your facts again are not facts

the same will hold for you. To date, you owe me $1,040
again- put up, or well, you know the drill
I at least try and find middle road information and not occupy democrat and other far left bias .middle of the road? when? every link you post is from the alt right.

why do you refuse to put up money to back up your "facts?
sorry- I know- hard to explain to the wife why you are writing me checks every day.
but I'll repeat it once again- I'll be glad to go back, to every post on these threads- and wherever I post something as a fact- I'll back it up with reliable sources. If I cannot, I'll pay you $20 for each time.
but the same then will hold true for your posts- I'll go back to every post, and gather up your falsehoods you state as fact, and for everyone you cannot back up with reliable sources- you pay me $20
Deal?
and I have no doubt you ARE used to it- if you constantly go around making up stuff, and proudly then declaring them as fact, you SHOULD be chastised
