And have you ever noticed that in these type of discussions I usually point out that what I want or need is available to me here........... And the usual response from someone is that they've got it too, when they often really don't, as per TC's claims on bears and feral hogs. If you were a serious upland bird hunter or waterfowler would MN be your choice ? No, not really. As with waterfowl, if that's your thing you need to locate elsewhere or travel, which a lot of guys do. CA gets a lot on nonresident waterfowlers because of the species and habitat diversity and the long seasons, in addition to the large amount of public hunting areas. MN's moose population is crashing, and hunting is suspended until the decline is reversed. Moose population drops dramatically; hunting season will not openIf you really want a moose go to the maritime provinces in Canada for a less expensive hunt, or BC or Alaska if you don't mind paying the price. The drawing for MN elk was for 9 tags..................... Bear tags are by drawing too for the better zones.

FWS you think there a no spring snow goose season in the Midwest . South Dakota has a tundra swan season as well very few states have them but I do not need to hunt a swan . They are for mounting not eating trust me! Ice fishing is fun and enjoyable and some great eating fish, again we can argue all we want but if people in the Midwest enjoy walleye and catfish and crappie and other fish who really cares? They are happy living where they do and you are happy in the state of California each to his own. Not everyone will live in any state and the diversity of states and what people enjoy make America a bountiful country. You keep eating geese and shark and all that, other will continue to eat what is offered to them or what they want in their states. You keep trying to sell people on California and frankly many could care less really............. Again never will have a need or want to go there ......... Enjoy it !

Never once said that, in fact I've posted numerous articles exactly on the spring snow goose seasons and the management plans over the years. And you've responded to them and stated your dislike for eating snow geese. Is your memory really that bad ? No, I really don't. That's just your perception. However, you DO try to 'sell' people on the Midwest and when I point out that I prefer the opportunities I have are more diverse and numerous you go nuts. See, I feel that way about Iowa and Missouri, but I have been there and saw that neither offered me the opportunities I valued. Just don't BS me that those species are all they eat, as you tried before, the evidence to the contrary was overwhelming.
