1080 reinforced my use of lots of lure and lots of bait- and I still probably am not using near the amount he would- but filling that bait hole with bait and stink, is going to keep him there longer, and sets that force him to the front will ensure he is there in the morning. my increased success has come in larger with eye appeal in part because at every set (sans the few flat sets I make nowadays) I use 1 small gopher, or 1/2 1 large gopher, plus at least 2 lures and urine Trappnman - With your dirt holes you are normally using a natural bait, I am assuming with some eye appeal as opposed to a commercial bait? I am considering trying more natural bait with eye appeal in the hole. Gary Jepson's coyote DVD is the first DVD that got me really thinking about a "dry pocket set". I don't have enough success or experience myself, so I watch DVD's over and over to see what makes sense and try to apply it to my area.

last few years, have been using both a natural bait, and a commercial bait in same hole-
gopher goes in last, so some eye appeal perhaps, but not intentional
