Heard some barking in the middle of the day from my porch this past week.Just know of one fox litter in the area this spring. Coon numbers seem like they may be ok. Rats, beaver and mink I have lIttle hope. for decent numbers close to home. anyway

Twelve weeks to go to coon opener,fourteen for rats. The way it feels today ice for the rat opener?

long pants and a jacket today....feels good, but fall is in the air
so coon opens the 19th? I'll be starting yotes about the 10th- sure hope we got coon this year- last year was my lowest numbers years on both land and water since the early 80s
