First time in years I never caught a fisher and the fisher market went almost to the moon in comparison to what they have been selling for lately.
34 dollar average on 7 mink all males. One small one that could as well been a female and one bad damaged that brought 9 bucks.

Ridiculous amount of $60, $70, $80 and $90 some dollar coon.
Had a friend send 36 Cherry Picked coon sell for $60 some dollar avg.
He had 13 grade Western Northern, and avg'd $79.92 on those.

Well it seems the muskrat have found a ceiling.
So far everything else is up substantially but rats are probably only up 5 to maybe 10 percent from last year.
Beaver will follow the trend and be up alot as well.
Might see some crazy red fox prices.

72 WI coons about half northerns and north centrals averaged $44.81 b4 commission with a large 1-11 grade for $21 as my low coon and a 6xl select 4 color at $84 as my high coon. I will need to hire an armed guard to run the line next year!

I hear you blackhammer, but year in and year out, coon sold local for us is usually in our favor, or a wash....every year some item seems to be hot- could be a tuff year next year in my area with the low coon numbers, and everyone with a dog or a trap out next year. if the may sale keeps it up, be interesting what local prices will start out next year
rats mink were comparable with the auctions after commission- I'll be interested to see coyotes- I wasn't to optimistic about yotes anyway and wonder if the high prices on coon, will be reflected in yotes, and I don't mean positively

Mink werent comparable. Rats are probably at their ceiling. A trapper would be wise to hold a percentage for the auctions or sell local after the auctions

I dont care what bryce got
I did 34.
My dad did 32 couple other mn shippers told me 32-34.
On another site a trapper from Nd reported 202 mink for 32.
What was the overall average at the sale?
Its not comparable.

nafa apparently think the coyotes will do ok. They have mine valued at $47 avg after commission, with a $90 top. A mix of semis and easterns. The easterns, valued at $15 to $44, bring the avg down a bunch.
The avg on the semis only was around $61. Not western kansas, so only a couple white bellies, but nice backs.
Here's hoping they're right.

I only had 4 mink and I felt they were average minus mink. One very large, very early male at $30, one female early at $13 and two large medium okay males one at $36 and one at $29.
I felt I did better proportionately on a small group of lower quality mink than I did on my rats. Coon were just almost obnoxious in some ways. 2xxl 1 grade 2-3 color coons at $45. Large 1-11 grade coons at $21? That is nice but is it doable over time? Bryce

I dont pay that kind of commission
I'll put 32 plus in my pocket.
You said the last time you sold you did 29 males 15 females..
So say 25 avg.
It wasnt comparable.
Another buddy of mine sold 100 plus mink to weibke not too long ago for 24.50.
Not comparable.
20% less.
