Two or three years ago on this site, I saw a year end photo from Paul Trepus that really got me thinking about runnin' his trap line with him in hopes of bringin' a nice wolf pelt home. Last year I bit the bullet and booked a trip for December 2012. Paul is a hard workin' honest guy who has the critters and the experience, which is all you can ask of any outfitter. Some pics form the trip; First check all fox and yotes Random shot Hit the wolves well at this spot, one beauty and two srcuffy black ones Nice shot of the variation of fox there; Reds, Silvers, and Cross Another beauty Gonna have one like this in my basement before long Great trip and hoping to go back!

Sounds like you had a good time. How did you travel on the line? What did you think about the weather/scenery?

Musher, There was only about 4-6 inches of snow when I got there and it never did any more than flurry for the 6 days I was there. Temps where between 10 n 30 F and virtually no wind. So the weather was perfect. We were able to get around in just a 4x4 pickup.
As far as the views etc. we spent most of the time on big cattle ranches in wide open country. So no big deal there. Other areas of BC that i've been through are spectacular though.
