My first packbasket has finally given out, been using it for ice fishing for the last 20 or so years. Will now hand my second packbasket down to load up with Beaver Dams and jig poles. Looky what I got! Ordered this from the Amish awhile back, finally got around to giving it the three coats of spar varnish this fall, and now it's packing in traps and such on my winter walk-in lines. Any guesses on the wood? Nice wide leather straps, treated 'em with mink oil. The basket fits like a glove on my back. And big enough to hold a 5-gallon pail for the tough stuff yet room on the side for the fur. Ordered it at the fall rondy here in Wisconsin last year, picked it up this year. $110. The wood? Bamboo. Most of the baskets made by this family are made of bamboo. Absolutely love it.

Freakin' beautiful!
Shipping would be unpleasant, so I'll just look at the photos.
