sold every bit of fur I had yesterday, and does the shed look bare- I truely miss it when I sell the coyotes. we sold the first weeks a month ago, here's whats left my buyer grades by average- meaning he graded into three grades, in which each had an average price for that grade. He graded everything twice, and always upgraded 2nd time around. I'm more than happy with this system, and its common when selling local We sold 42% of them for $32 average We sold 44% for a $20 average We sold 14% for a $15 average making total average at $24 For mid oct to mid nov SE MN coyotes, not bad and 100% sold male mink averaged $27, female mink averaged $14 green coon averaged $17.50 now- off to check traps and get back into the fur business!

I feel your pain, Steve. Nothing looks so empty as the fur shed once the pelts are sold.

You mean---IT AIN"T GOT NO FLEAS.Hang some rats and beaver--then you have something worth smiling about. And they smell so much better. Good Luck. Tom

was thinking I might not get any beaver this year, I don't go out of my way for them nd haven't seen any sign on the creeks I'm on, but picked up a wandering 2 year old yesterday in a mink set, so I DO have a beav to skin today

Ya gotta catch a beav or two each year. They are the BEST coyote bait meat ever. Plus, if you do happen to get a lot of them, they are one of the best wild game meats ever. Sadly, so far this year I'm up to zero. I do know of one active spot a few miles from my house and plan to head there after Christmas.
