been a real good week- best week so far- big weather change last night- upper 70s yesterday, to a 4 oclock this afternoon high in 30s- raining now, but dry for last week



5-10 years ago thought fox were coming back- was getting 30-35 a year, slowly dropping- 13 or 14 last year- first one of the year, at least hes a nice one












4th coyote at this bone set- 3 in 1 trap, 1 in another, none in a 3rd- all within 20 feet

Nice pics! Fox looks good. You ready to admit those larger canines have took over and wrecked it for fox? ;)Sold a carcus badger to Wiebkes on Friday for 18 dollars. A decent one but not great by any means.

I've got 4 to sell today- lori is taking them over plus a few coyotes & coon to both test the market, and to get some walking around money

3 are large, one is medium and 2 of the large and the medium were all taken this week, and are good colored and good fur for this time of year. last year, sold similar for $45 on carcass

I'd be shocked to get that, but will be disappointed if they aren't in the $25+ range

the fox here are hard to figure out

from the late 80s until late 90s- took 7-10 a year, always on same farms- then it went up- 15, 22, then into the 30s for a few years- then past 4-5 years steadily downhill

in all the years, the coyote population was basically unchanged- and more often than not- my better coyote farms, were also my better fox farms
