I know how many like to see photos so here are a few from yesterday. The first is my first double of the season. The next is a rare (for me anyway) double front foot catch. I've only managed that a couple other times. Gotta have the "hero" shot. A half dozen in one day is rare for me. I'm only running a couple dozen sets and shoot for one or two catches per day. As one old timer once told me, "I'm just not that angry with them anymore."

nice pics Possum- put in a red tool box, and take out the silver one, and your truck could be mine- its a good runner and I have that V 6 and get 17-18 consistent mileage and not unhappy with that. What engine do you have. Don't like the vacuum 4x4- makes you plan ahead a little... I liked the ford when you shifted in, you were in with no delay the double foot catch...you can't guide any better than that!

Just got the truck this season. I'd been driving a 1990 Ranger for the past 12 years or so. One of the landowners I trap asked a couple years ago when I was going to get rid of the "piece of chit" truck. I told him I was looking for a 10 or 12 year old, small engine, full-sized truck and he said, "You want my truck." Got a phone call in August he was selling. We agreed on a price and there you go. It does ride across the pocket gopher mounds better. It has the 4.3 L V-6. Runs great. I agree on the delay when going into 4WD. I'd put Warne hubs on the Ranger and it was lock and load, instantly.
