Great pics. I'm surprised to see that wolf so docile. I would have expected him to try to tear your head off. Didn't know one would lay there and let you grab it by the tail. Sure is contrary to the way wolves are portrayed in hollywood.

Do the wolves bite on the trap like coyotes are known to do? Thanks Jim

Yes they do Jim, I have released 7 so far the past 2 years, although this year no bent dogs, last year 3 out of 4 had the dogs bent just about doubled. The young wolf that I was able to touch was very small, 40 lbs at best and it sat thru a 2" rain we had overnight so it was just ready to go lol, most the young ones are very docile, the alphas and subbordinate males have a little more fight to them.
Thanks for lookin

Picked up another Wolf a few days ago but its been a very bad couple weeks for trapping for me, I am not a a numbers guy and just play around for a few weeks, usually around 20 Canines is my goal and I only managed 12. I just have a couple sets out now near the house but im pretty much done. Rained hard as heck the last 2 days and now today its snowing with a 7 degree wind chill. So glad I pulled before all the rain. Anyway here are a couple pics of the 4th Wolf, cant be certain but this girl looks like a pup I released last year on the same property, same color scheme anyway and about a year older size wise. Here is a little video of Wolf #2, releases usually go better but thiis one decided to use his feet to make the release a little more interesting.
