Anyone from Minn or surrounding area know what happened to Ken Buege? He was the owner of Mississippi River trapline supply? I remember ordering from there in the early 80's?

I believed he moved to Lansing,Iowa ,right across the border and is a principal there. Still traps mink in NE Iowa I'm told. He was a very good mink trapper here in the bluff country were big number mink trapping is tough to do. I too ordered from him way back and drove down and visited him a few times. He's kind of disappeared from the public eye in trapping I doubt he even goes to conventions anymore. Know the old guy who still puts up his fur for him and has for years.

Thanks black hammer!!!! He must have retired from the school I don't see his name lsited on the lansing school website. Good to know he is still trapping! I think he sold out to Cavens correct?

He may have retired. It would probably figure age wise. Got a buddy who traps down there and he sees Ken every year.

that name brings back some memories- always had a small ad in FFG and went down there a few times. haven't heard it mentioned in a long time
