ColdSteel, you can come to our state auction(Virginia at the expoland). We have a lot of guys from NC every year. I seen cat from your area bring $80-$100 and otter $85-$115.

One would hope the fur can move at respectable prices. If a lot of the rat buy backs are dealer protected lots etc. then there will be a lot less cash in the country this fall if the fur does not clear the market. For WI folks where rats and coon are our big fur volumes and revenue source the softening of the market does not bode well. For many that sell all their fur early they will not know this until after they harvest next fall. We will still see high levels of competition for rats and even coon for a season or two.
Glad I had my stuff ready for the February sale this go round that is all I can say.

cold steel our sale is always the 2nd saterday in march. We had 12 buyers bidding at the auction, now that was fun to watch. We sold about $90,000.00 worth of fur this past year. Most trappers about broke their face from smiling

Two coon on my list are 538213 and 223. Those two are not clickable and can not find em anywhere. Anyone know what's up there? All other lot #s way higher I see I have some buy backs, not surprised there. when there are 500000 lot numbers then they are selected out during grading. Used for pr or sold once the price for that grade a size, prices show up 2 or 3 days after the auction.
