Nope, don't believe so. Heard they were W. Kansas/Sandhills Nebraska coyotes. Back in 1979 I sold two lots of 20 coyotes each for $435.00 a skin. Virtually all came from W. Kansas. The heavy furred, super pale coyotes of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and Alberta have way too much fur-too long to be used in full length coats-makes the wearer look too large. That is why thye want the paler, shorter length furred coyotes from the W. KS/Sandhills of NE. Sorry to say it kelly but your assessment is wrong. May have been so in the boom days but it aint the 70's anymore. those coyotes are montana alberta type heavies. I had cocktails two night in a row with the gentleman that bought those yotes. they are not going to full length coats, they are gonna be trim. The trim trade is driving the yote market and if you would have walked around that sale with a sign on your back saying I buy montana/wyoming/nd coyotes you would have maybe been mugged. They just arent finding enough and the harvest is way off on the good heavies. Just not enough snow anywhere. The coyote on the far right that foxman speaks of was probably 15 20 bucks. That makes me feel better..

If that white bellied coyote on the far right that foxman referred to only brought 15-20, what was wrong with it? Bad damage or rubbed or broke? Coyotes like that one but with off white bellies brought 80 to 95 from NE Ks.

Steven mine from Indiana are the same lenth and width as that $700 dollar sweetie but that is about all they have in common. I didn't have any red ones like you showed. Mine were more pink in the crotch and of the short haired version I believe dingy would be the word. Thanks for making a brothers day and showing me where i rank in the dog world.

Wonder if the long haired full fur coats are going to get back into style again.Had someone tell me these Missouri coon that had great clearance at Nafa might be headed in that direction.
