You don't say how many traps you plan to run. I trap similar habitat such as wad-able rivers, smaller streams, two medium to small sized marshes and some ditches etc. I use mostly stoploss foot holds as I never got too much into body grippers for rats. I try to move every 3-4 days with most of my rat line area so if you want productive sets and have two weeks you will have to have two to three times the area you can set up the first round with the traps you have available. REMEMBER this is from just my experience and methods, others can provide you with additional thoughts I hope. I set mostly feed beds, over hanging banks on shelfs, other protected areas. I plan to use a few floats this fall in very specific locations and also more body grippers where appropriate. I do set houses but they are my back up to good feed beds. I lure some sets but have never used bait.
