I have tried berkshire, pogos, and superstakes...I really like superstakes (but there driver sucks). Never had a problem with ss, driven them is semi-frozen ground to frozen ground (frozen up to a foot deep). Hit rocks driven them through roots an limestone, had them stick so hard in rock that I never could pull them. I never saw a superstake split in half like some have claimed, I PERSONALLY HAVE NEVER SEEN THAT. I did not like berks and pogos were a hassle from top to bottom, suck on driver non stop. But others do not mind the hassle they give compared to some of the hassles superstakes give. I believe wolf fangs probably work fine BUT will still have hassles

WF just another copy of a Butera spade stake with a new twist. I have been having them made like that for at least 15 years.
Same with O'Gs high desert spears. I think that Butera's spade stake was probably the fore runner to all earth anchors.
Although 30 years ago I buried gallon paint can lids as earth anchors when I trapped fox on the Wisconsin river sand bars.

I need a solution to sand. I use 2- 30 inch rebar at 45 degree angles and it will not hold on a 24 hour check.

Pogo or Iowa type disposables will do the job.

admit that I never cared for the iowa types do to the driver sticking problem. i've been using some of Marsh's RCS's and like em except for the retrievable cable. researched the iowa types with MTP first. they don't have em. snare shop has their version. anyone used them?

One thing I do with all my earth anchors It to take my hammer and beat In the path the anchor took when I drove It. I think by closing up that void you Improve your holding power.

we often do the same, but our motive is to have less cable come out when presetting them- don't know if it would add any holding power though- but it might
