Looking at purchasing telemetry equipment for some work I'm doing and am looking for advice on the different brands of equipment.
Been looking at Telonics and Advanced Telemtry Systems.

Maybe, I'll find you somebody to help if he's not busy.
2 years ago, we had problems with many collars. Last year was better with the new batch.
GPS collar, both or only the beep beep telemetry collar you're looking for?

yes GPS collars are the way to go depending on study and area size, you can get them with a temp sensor as well. LOtek makes some either GPS standard or argos you can get them with self drop off boxes or not.
What are you trying to achieve?

Not interested in the temperature option. I'm needing ear tag transmitters.
I'm afraid were going to have to stick with VFR equipment. The GPS would be nice but is almost cost prohibitive from what I have seen so far.

you mean like PIT tags? Are you doing a capture and release only or capture recapture type thing? What critters are you doing these on?

I'm about to implement a telemetry study, what question are you trying to answer?
