I will sleep with one eye open and now with my permit to carry I will have one hand on my hand gun with shot.To bad you could not get a pile of them I could grind them up when dead.I would nice to have some skin from one.I honestly say I am not jealous for once of your catch.

Lookin good. Never even thought about snakes yet, but a little snow on the mtn now. First chance I get, I'll run up and go for a walk, bet they will sneak out to get some sun before long.

My wife said she will be packing iron when go's for her walks after we get moved down our place near the Red. She suggested I get a pair of snake boots, I passed, but maybe I should reconsider. Good looking snake thou. Might have to try some roasted.

where you are moving the rattlesnakes are huge, lots of copperhead and cotton mouths! buy the snake boots, especially for spring turkey seasons! don't try to be macho! lol!

Thanks for the advice. Makes me concern for my 10yo grandson who constantly roams the brush.
Think I will get the boots, we are not far from Rocky Boot factory and outlet.
The large one in your pics looks hughe to me. When I was young I hunted snakes for science collection and resurch. At 75 I will be more careful.
