I sold 1.3oz. of medium length hair for $30 at our sale a couple weeks ago. Longer would of been more.
If your daughters PGH is clean of under fur, all bundled straight and clean I'm guessing it's worth about $375 for 16 oz. If it's piled in a bag like a pillow, close to worthless.

I am guessing that the eastern variety would be marginal.

I'm not sure of the minimum length that it needs to be. I'm going to guess 5". Google "WissMiss" website and contact Nancy. She will know and guide you to a buyer or she might buy it herself. I believe she will be on the road this weekend to a fur sale but will get back to you. She also visits Trapperman regularly, username "WISSMISS".
