Gentlemen, I got a good deal on some victor #3 jumps which I've been using for yotes. They are center swiveled,pawsi-tripped, laminated with JC's 3/16 square lams and have Conners shock springs. The problem is I'm still getting more foot damage than I would like to see mainly cutting.I would like your thoughts please.
thanks, Chris

cutting means sharp somewhere.
where is the cutting occurring? if low by bottom edge, try rolling the edge over- if on top of lam, then perhaps round that corner off as well?
maybe inside laminate as well?
just guesses on my part- but bottom line, you need sharp edges to cut- so it should be fixble

The other issue that causes foot damage besides is the ability for the foot to slide back and forth between the jaws. Although it is center swiveled if they are the least bit weak or IMO do not have the even powered a dbl long or coil have it may be allowing the foot to slide in the trap causing cutting. Pictures would help as well

I'll look 'em over good .Rolling the edges over is a good idea.Springs are very strong.Do you guys think offsetting them would help also ?
