so you are allowed to disapprove of a snaring BMP that is good enough to become the standard for several states because it doesn't approve the tools you use effectively?
yet I have to give the coon bmps my stamp of approval?
how do my moccasins fit...? ;D

I'll play this game with you tman, first this was not an unbias deal, they new going into the testing, they wanted certain restrictions, that being alive animals upon arrival, did the coon BMP come with any other restriction from the norm laid out in the orignal documents and testing procedures? That would be NO! All tools received the same consideration and in fact I think you will find the 1.5 had more time and attention devoted to it than any other trap in any test to date! They where tested and retested, I can think of no other trap in any BMP study that has been given that kind of attention! The rest either passed or failed and line them back up at a later date if you want them retested, not the 1.5 reg jaw! TIme and time again. Yet you still say there has to be a conspricay against the 1.5! If anything it was given more time and leeway than any other trap tested to date! I will state for the last time the National BMP's are a guidline at best, they come with no laws or being told to be made law to any, ANY state, that is up to the states to decide. The snare issue in WI and PA where take it or leave it deals, they where to be law from the very get go of the testing process, with preconceived agendas, that being live restraint only! That was a mandate from both states if they wanted snaring. Two totally different agendas and testing procedures, The BMP's start with the equipment all on an equal field, it's the testing that seperates them out! Again who is to blame for the deal in WIS and PA? Are you going to tell me the BMP process mandated this? Or the state? or the trappers of those states? Who is it tman? Who is to blame for something that may end up in other states? Did the BMP's make WI DNR make these rules? Or did the WIS DNR take this on in there state? I find it funny how the BMP process could have mandated that in WI and PA when they have yet to do a snare BMP nation wide? and how long has this process been in the works in WI?

Game?
No game you me that you act outraged because I feel the coon bmps are bogus (did you read the post from an ACTUAL coon trapper in the bmps?) yet cannot be honest on the snare bmps.
But thats ok- keep protesting and keep trying to weasal out of the truth- NOT ALL BMPS ARE CREATED EQUAL.
you seem to consider yourself an expert on the coon bmps ? Why? you weren't involved , were you? the results aren't released yet- are they?
And your posts show you have little if any experience trapping coon in anything but water or snares.
You are arguing a point with NO ammunition.
National? what bmps were done on coon in MN? In WS?
When a bmp is used to design a snaring program in at least 4 states-
Its national - its nationwide.
Perhaps your state would like a copy?
