Robert, I agree....the possum problem needs to be taken care of. I don't have a problem with the 160 issue as long it doesn't turn into the 220 problem like it did in the mid 1980's.
Hard to trap fox/coyote when possums are standing in line to get in the trap first.
A couple years ago I heard of a possum population density project down toward the Lake of the Ozarks and the study came up with at least 2 countys with a density of 200 possums per square mile.....
Braveheart, ya done good.....nice pics too.

Bravehart, great photos and a good line, well managed I am sure.
If you will would you answer the following question. Your color seems to hold up well across the whole catch. What geographical area in say square miles would these coons come from.
Where I am at I cover about the equivalent of 3 townships and get roughly 100-120 coons but their colors are much more variable from region to region for me within that size of area. We get more blackish ones, more red color or brownish in some areas and one area I get some with less straighter guard hairs.

Getrz, The 160 has a proven track record of being a safe trap. Yes...It is theoretically possible catch small dogs in them but....it hasn't happened yet.
Garman, I avoid the baited sets and just them in trail sets. They set faster this way and are less obvious to Johnny Sneakums stealing traps.

Most of them coon all came from a 10 mile area.Alot of good silage pits and dairy farms. These places always have 20 to 30 coon every year in each spot.
