Thanks Steve for posting pics, can you keep badgers? WI did a study two yrs ago, havent heard anything from it....imagine that.... we have plenty of badgers, but with the Bucky Badger image doubt we will ever get to keep a Wi badger....what have you recieved in the past for your badgers? I dont think they are quite prime yet but a prime badger is something to see like a nice yote when prime. Pulling my canine and water line today and friday as deer season starts Sat.. Cant stomach blown apart canines in traps and stolen traps... Will set right after gun deer season is over.

yes, we can keep badgers with no limits. Season is same as coon, fox, etc. I sell to Lee in prescott, and he does me quite well on them on the carcass- he keeps the best for mounts/rugs. in a good year for badger- I get $25-30 for a nice one with good color- usually in the $15-20 range, browns a little less. Got 4 i nfreezer, all a nice color and badger have some value this year, so I'm thinking a $20 average. we shall see. and you are right- nothing like jan/feb badgers but pretty good for this time of year. color always seems deciding factor

Colorado Fur Auction is a pretty good place to market badgers. Cased, fur out, skinned with paws on. Pale diamonds $65 and up

Had a weird thing happen yesterday, About 8 days ago had a coyote expose the cable on my earth anchor and chew it off and got away with the trap. Well yesterday same section and 15 ft. away from where it got first got caught in a blended grab stick there it sat and the first trap was laying in the catch circle with him.

you need a bigger truck!!!
well, last day was my zero day- all we had was a fox- as Lori said- shows its time to pull.
All in all a good season- I'll post what I learned ,etc in a few days- deer hunting off and on this week. Sat- sititng on my stand- a bick comes out 30 feet from me, stands broadside to me, doesn't have a clue I'm there- not a blade of grass between him and i...gun lined up steady on his heart/lungs...and try as I might, he only had 3 points to a side- illegal in my zone thanks to the pseudo science of the DNR with their point restrictions to "protect an age class " (their words, not mine).
big bodied deer- only one I saw
