Dont know but the absence of the world famouse gopher trapper deems a big gopher grabbed the trapper and pulled him down a hole, not even the soles of the trappers boots showed at all................. various yote tracks at the hole showed Steve missed some yotes.......

LOL- not far wrong. Been without my computer for over past week, computer worked fine, but explorer didn't- so a buddy got it fixed with Google Chrome.
Been hitting the gophers hard in between the rains. been out since 4-6 and only missed 2 days- one being today we had a lot of rain yesterday afternoon and most of the night. Its always so hectic this time of year trying to cover ground before the hay gets too high to drive it.
got the biggest, and most distant farms done- so have 1 farm set up, and 7 to do- we are suppose to have 4 dry days- so can really make progress.
had to run last 2 days in suburban- broke another leaf spring- boy are gopher fields hard on them- this is 3rd on the Ranger, and had3-4 springs break on other trucks over years- luckily I got a good mechanic that charges reasonable prices- so it wnet in shop yesterday, going to get new shocks and muffler as well- will be done today and cost me $50 or so plus parts.
Tuff getting back into shape- no trouble sleeping nights for any of us!

hoo! almost done. got rained out yesterday mid afternoon, so still have 1 farm to set up. Really liking the cinches more and more- one farm the other day had 15 in a row, then a couple of misses then another 6 in a row- sure makes it lots more fun!
big change in setting them this year- I had been digging down to get them flatter and more stable, now I'm not digging at all, but am back filling under the trap-
not using any kwick sets- they work great when new...but after use become unreliable- pretty much just using cinches and pans- a few death clutches in certain tunnels- but cinches are my go to- I don't think they are any more reliable than pans, but lots less work to set & check- I like seeing that lever sticking up!
got some coyote ideas floating in my head- next week lets see if we can breather some life in this board!

Thanks for update, clarify what cinches are. Not familiar with them. Dont have gopher problems here in my part of Wisc. . Definately look fwd to more yote ideas and discussion. Had 3 1/2 inches rain here, would flood those gophers out here and its still raining today Wed 26th.

its really a goldburg type of trap- 3 triggers, and a long firing trigger- took me a while to figure them out

exmatador- no, I never did- beyond squeezing the triggers down. Except for some pans on split tunnels, using them almost every mound
sabrina- are you easily shocked?
