so if I say you are in bad health, and then a month later you get a cold- I was right?
what your folks were saying was "brain damage", Parkensons, stroke, etc
pneumonia- hardly a crippling disease
-------------
TC- I'm just waiting for YOU to admit you spread lies.
count me into the 58% that give our President high approval ratings

A friend of mine wrote this about the health of Presidents.
If we elected presidents on the basis of medical reports, let's see. Quick and dirty analysis. Teddy Roosevelt loses to Dixiecrat Alton Brooks Parker in 1904 asthma, you know. In 1908 the absurdly obese William Howard Taft loses to William Jennings Bryan. Wilson may have won in 1912, but no shot in 1916 against Charles Evans Hughes. Harding, with Gamaliese, mastoid surgery, and blood pressure systole of 185, would have found it difficult to beat James J. Cox. Harding in fact died in office. Coolidge seemed healthy enough, but needed 15 hours sleep a day after his son died while Silent Cal was in office. Herbert Hoover, elected at a young age, is reported to have not missed a day of work during his presidency as a result of illness. FDR? Come on, no chance. Ever. And a physician who examined him in 1944 said his heart failure would make it certain he died in office during his fourth term, Which he did. Quickly. Nevertheless he named Harry Truman to be his backup.Wise choice? You decide. Thomas Dewey would have faced the decision whether to use the atomic bomb. Truman was apparently as healthy as a horse. Ike showed no sign of decline by 1952, but suffered heart attacks and a stroke before the 1956 election, which would have given us a Stevenson presidency under current unofficial rules. Kennedy? Addison's and a hell of a lot of other things? Hello President Nixon in 1960. If Nixon could have managed the Cuban Missile Crisis, he could have given us Watergate 8 years early. Jimmy Carter, another young president who has shown miraculous resilience right up to the moment, seems unassailable. Although no one seems to know at what point Reagan's Alzheimer's would have, if known, made him unfit for the presidency, he otherwise presented a clean record when he ran in 1980. The two Bushes, Clinton, and Obama, appear not to have been vulnerable on health issues. But we have come a long way in the last century and a half when it comes to how we look at such things. And the historical record suggests it is not entirely clear that this is the best way to screen our candidates.
My feeling is that I'd rather have a person whose physical health was in question rather than his mental health.

So you want a president that could possibly not see the end of the term due to poor health? You want a president who could be bed ridden as much as he or she is in the Oval Office? Or do you want anyone with D in front of their name to win regardless of health and then we just let the VP "possibly" take over at any time in the 4 year window?
Do you see that as being a strong stance for our country here and abroad?
Frankly Clintons VP choice, the guy is a few brick short of a full load with some of his comments and how he likes to change the belief system of the Catholic Church to match his lien of thoughts durring the election cycle.
We have come along way on how we look and react to a lot of things I will agree and not all of them are good for the people either.

"So you want a president that could possibly not see the end of the term due to poor health?"
Which candidate would that be? Both of these candidates are 70ish, anything can happen any time. Both of them have longevity in genes from their parents. Although Trump's father suffered with Alzheimer's for 6 years before pneumonia did him in.
" Clintons VP choice, the guy is a few brick short of a full load.."" And you think Pence has both oars in the water? lol

Trump is obese. 6' 2" and 236 lbs (yeah, right and I'm 160) is considered obese.
He could pop off any second the way he scarfs down fried foods
but hey- if Dr Oz says hes ok......................
Pence? perhaps you could detail, from his record, what you like about him?

I support many of the bills he voted for and against, I am not from Indiana but I can tell by his voting record he is in line with the thoughts and opinions of millions of Americans.
His attempts to get a balanced budget amendment in his state, the replacement of federal education guidelines with state standards which many states have done, he also voted yes to stop the silliness of suing firearms manufactures for silly lawsuits against them.he has an A rating by the NRA.
He is for a simplyfying the tax code as well.

I don't pay any attention to these silly poll numbers either, but the last I looked, looks like Trump is pulling to the front.
Seems like Hillary Clinton took a hit and lost about 10 percentage points, in 2 weeks time. Seems to me that the wheels of the Clinton Cart of Corruption are about to fall off.
Looks like "Team Hillary" is running out of ammo. Also noticed where the Fraternal Order of Police is backing Trump. The largest police union in the country, imagine that!

I think election will be won or lost in first debate- going to be 15 minute blocks- that's different and should be interesting
polls change so much- trump gaining ground here- Hillary basically tied in TX

I think if Trump would get his hair cut back around his ears, this election would be over.
Whatcha gonna do if Hillary goes into a 15-minute coughing fit?
I expect the polls to change a good bit too.
